Freight Yard Pub - North Adams

Upon arrival, we saw that several other patrons arrived at the same time, so when we were asked to wait for 5 minutes due to the rush plus the now familiar short staffing, we gladly waited the extra minutes. Once we were seated, the service was excellent. The food was cooked to order, well presented, and delicious. The beer menu was just varied enough. I would return here.

I made reservations in advance to visit this restaurant after hiking up Mount Greylock. There were two of us, and we ordered drinks, appetizers, main courses, and dessert. The restaurant was quite busy, as it was a Friday evening. Our waitress seemed a bit distracted and didn't introduce herself when she took our order. The drinks were enjoyable, and our food arrived quickly. I particularly loved the peanut butter and banana burger, but the wings were a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a good experience, and I appreciated their COVID safety measures. I might consider returning if I'm in the area again.

Good food! Only two servers for the entire lunch service, but they stayed on top of it and were extremely courteous.

Food was fine not memorable. Waitress pretty much ignored us. Noisy because of constant train traffic. If dining in a switching yard is on your bucket list--go for it!
