The O'Connell Street Grill

Attended dinner here last week. Had a steak and it was fantastic. Site was previously Outback Jacks North Adelaide, wait staff informed me that it has been revamped to better suit the North Adelaide area. The selection of steaks and other menu items, such as kangaroo, pork and seafood, is impressive. My partner had the lamb cutlets and they were cooked as requested and were both tender and full of flavour. My steak was served with a small garnish salad and we ordered a couple of sides to share. The honey carrots with tender and delicious. Would recommend to everyone in the area and also to those not in the area as I believe it is well worth the drive. Don't take my word for it, get in there and give it a try. They are only new and need people to spread the word.

Formerly known as Outback Jacks, this restaurant has made changes for the better. New menu with variety, nice side dishes and a small selection of desserts. Limited but adequate wine list. There is a children's area with a TV that seems a little out of place with the changes that have been made. Nice staff. If you have an entertainment book, they will honour the Outback Jack voucher.

Back, had a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The food was delicious and portions were generous. I also enjoyed the selection of drinks available. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this pub to others.

I am happy to report that the Daniel O'Connell has received top marks for its offal menu and has returned to serving delicious food at affordable prices.

If you enjoy meat and organ meats, this restaurant is the place to be. It is not busy at all in the evenings earlier in the week, and they have a lovely outdoor seating area.
