The Fish Works - North Ayrshire

LOVE LOVE LOVE! the fish works is the only place we go for a chippy! We make the 45 minute journey from glasgow down and it is so worth it! fresh, friendly and all things yummy! We have known Oz for over a decade and you always get that warm atmosphere as well as from all the staff, definitely 100% recommend, couldn’t give this place a more glowing review, what a contribution to the seaside.

I recently visited The Fish Works and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their fish and chips. As someone who has tried various places across the country, I can say their offering is definitely up there with the best. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. It’s clear the owners have put in a lot of effort to turn the business around, and it shows not just in the service, but in the quality of the food as well. The fish was cooked perfectly with a crispy batter, and the chips were just right not too greasy, but full of flavour. It’s no wonder they’ve won numerous awards. For anyone looking for a good fish and chips, The Fish Works is worth checking out.

All time favourite place for an amazing fish and chips. Friendly staff and fresh food makes it perfect see side place to have tasty food.

This establishment is amazing. Even in the middle of summer you could tell they took their time with the food to make sure it was of the highest quality. I would 100% go again and definetly recommend for you to go and try it.
