The Raven and Republic - North Bay

The restaurant has great food, good beer, and good service - the perfect combination. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I plan on returning. I should note that I came for an early dinner and there was only one staff member working both the tables and the bar, taking orders, serving, and doing everything except cooking (hopefully). There was a bit of a wait for things, but it didn't bother me at all.

This place is a hidden gem. My partner and I had a date night here and all I can say is wow. The service was excellent and the fish and chips were amazing. We began with a huge serving of nachos. Our waitress was outstanding and very prompt. This will definitely be my new favorite spot in North Bay.

You must try the spinach dip at this restaurant, it is amazing and not your typical version. It comes with homemade tortilla chips and small garlic buns, which are delicious.

Solid food and great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and they had a good selection of items to choose from. They also offer a bunch of board games for you to play for free.

Although the mushroom-based risotto doesn’t look all that great, it actually tasted amazing. The Raven Republic is a frequent haunt of mine and I’m sad they discontinued trivia night which used to be super fun but the board game idea doesn’t seem to be too bad! Will have to try it out some point! The creme brule was nice but wouldn’t necessarily recommend the cheesecake
