Bidra med feedbackI was just passing through town and decided to stop by for a quick bite. I ordered two jalapeño bacon burgers, an onion ring, a small Dr. Pepper, and some fries. It turned out to be a terrible choice. While the fries were decent, the burgers were disappointing. They had unripe tomatoes, crunchy jalapeños, and the beef was tasteless—just bland and unappetizing. Even the pickles were not enjoyable. I visited this place six years ago, and it was pretty bad then too, but I thought it might have just been an off day. After this visit, it's clear that wasn't the case. I enjoy trying out old burger joints, but I’ll definitely be passing on this one in the future.
I absolutely loved this place! No regrets at all. If you find yourself in need of a quick dinner, just head to Scott’s Dairy Freeze! The food is delicious.
If you're attempting to present your restaurant as a 50's or 60's drive-in, at the very least, you should offer the types of items that were popular during those decades, like ice cream sodas or freezes (which are a mix of soda and ice cream). While you have the equipment to make shakes, it’s disappointing that you can’t simply blend half Pepsi with half ice cream to create a freeze. This is quite disappointing. The exterior and name seem to be nothing more than a gimmick to attract customers.
Extra wide Taiwanese boba straws in a thick American malted milkshake is the perfect representation of the great cultural melting pot that our founding fathers aspired for when creating this country.
How have I missed this gem! The summer time ambiance of sitting outside at a picnic table enjoying the soft serve cone was fantastic but then it got even better with an order of fries to go! The fries here were some of the best I've had in a long time. I can't wait to return soon for a complete meal! Thank you to the really fine folks that make this place amazing!
