Food was good, large portions but the service was slow even though they wasn't that busy

Seated and 10 mins later, no human wanted to say hello, nor take my drink or food order. Was in on a Monday morning March 4th at 9 am. Rest. was Not busy, Was an odd experience, as the servers walked by several times. Was never attended, so I decided to just leave. I'll try again next year : Was it my long hair?

Typical greasy spoon, in a good way. If you want to eat breakfast comfort food it's a great place to go. The service is typically very fast and friendly. It does tend to be a little crowded and loud.

Classis american diner. Good basic food at a reasonable price with good service

If you're hungry at 6am, there's no better place to go than Jim's. Parking is super easy in their giant lot. The food is great and served quickly. But what makes it outstanding is the service! Jinger wasn't just prompt but friendly throughout. Checking on us often and making sure our drinks were topped off. Truly a gem..jims makes you feel like part of the family. I hadn't been here in 20 years but I'll be back much sooner, if it works, it works. Oh and plan to get a to go box, servicing sizes are pretty generous !
