Lola's Authentic Mexican Cuisine

We went with another couple for a dinner, had one drink a person and we’re cut off because our corner was “too loud”. The tables around us said we weren’t loud at all. Management and wait staff blamed each other. Ruined our experience and we will never return.

There are both inside and outside seating areas which we like. The food was delicious. I had shrimp and sweet potato fries both of which were done perfectly. My husband had étouffée what she said was slightly above average, but not great. He was also disappointed that the portion size was misrepresented and smaller than he expected. Inexpensive parking was very hard to find.

My friend and I ate at the new Mt. Pleasant location last night and WOW! The food is authentic cajun with generous portions. The service was great (even though the place was packed)! Finally, Mt Pleasant has a great Cajun restaurant. I highly recommend it but be sure to make a reservation.

Authentic Cajun cuisine and superb service. I had some reservations on some of the beer and the waitress gave me some recommendations, plus she suggested I have a sample prior to ordering.

Excellent food. Quality made. Highly recommend the steak quesadilla knocked a home run it was excellent. Will be going back soon for my regular fix!
