Anaarkarli - North East Derbyshire

This review is for a take-out order. The food was not the best and had an excessive amount of salt, which overshadowed the Indian spices that were lacking in the dishes. The food arrived slightly late, about 20 minutes, which wasn't a major issue. We ordered three main dishes, two with rice and one with naan. The naan arrived but there was no rice. When we tried to contact the restaurant, the phone line was busy, which is understandable on a weekend night. However, when we finally got through, no one answered and we were cut off. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Had a chicken Bhuna and a chicken Korma, Keema naan, pilau rice, and onion bahjis. This restaurant was amazing before Covid-19 and now are tuning out amazing takeaway whilst the lockdown is on. He advised me that today they'd had 60 orders by 6:30pm, and you couldn't tell the difference. Same smiley talkative staff, same to die for food!!! A little gem hidden away in the small village of Holmewood...you will not be disappointed!!!

Excellent restaurant/takeaway. The tandoori meats are my favourite which you can have with any meal. I recommend the Chicken Tandori Balti. Friendly and helpful staff. Always aim to please and never disappoint. A fantastic meal every time thank you

During the era of covid we were told to try this restaurant and wow it was so so tasty and easily.the best Indian around... was being the word. So so gutted to write that recently this restaurant had massively changed. The quality and service has been really poor and the last three orders have been forgotten items cold and burnt food. Its gutting to write because it can be so so nice. Our last order said within the hour and took 2 hours even after ringing to find out why. Again really gutted but I feel like we have given enough chances now
