So Bao - North End New Zealand

One of my favorite food places in Dunedin. I've dined in and gotten delivery from them many times and they're always consistent with their quality and flavourful food. All of their baos are absolutely delicious and I'd recommend any one of them. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already! Service: Dine in Price per person: NZ$20–30

Dined on a Friday night. The place was about 80% full. It's a small restaurant. Sat at the bar. There was only 1 person cooking and 1 person serving so service was slow but very friendly. Ordered beef soup, broccoli 3pc bao (duck, pork, chicken) Food was amazing and worth the long wait. Everything was so delicious. my favorites were the chicken bao and the broccoli with yoghurt sauce. so damn tasty. Would definitely visit again. Food: 5

Great spot for some good bao buns and noodles. We tried the Karage Chicken, Pork Belly and Pekin Duck, my favorite was Pork Belly. 3 for $20 Also, we tried the Taiwanese Beef Noodles $20 and the Pork on Rice $9 (Taiwanese street food) and both were full of flavor and good portion. No photo because we were so hungry and it looked so good They have 3 different local beers on tap and good selection of soft drinks. Staff was friendly and recommended us the nost popular dishes.

Small unassuming place, but absolutely banging food. Have eaten a lot of bao buns in a lot of different places, and these are definitely some of the best. The handmade Taiwanese beef noodles were also excellent, and our son loved the cheeseburger and fries. Food came out quick, service was friendly and attentive. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality you're getting. One of the best restaurants in Dunedin at the moment! Food: 5
