Tacos Michoacan - North Hills

Finding truly great carne asada in the Valley can be a challenge, but this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant definitely deserves a five-star rating! The service was quick and excellent; they asked me what I wanted and delivered a fantastic carne asada burrito. Highly recommend!

While I was waiting to get loaded, the guy at the guard shack for the beer company up the street suggested this restaurant. It did not disappoint! I ordered chicken enchiladas and a few taquitos, and both were fantastic! I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in the area to pick up a load!

Then a man came out and had an attitude, stating they didn’t want to serve anyone because they only had regular tacos and burritos available since they were closing in 20 minutes. Since it was only 7:10 PM and their sign said they closed at 8:00 PM, I felt it was unreasonable to rush customers out so early. I’m sure the owner wouldn’t be pleased to know that their staff is discouraging customers who arrive well before closing time. I would understand this behavior if it were 7:45 PM, but it was only 7:10 PM. In the end, I left without making a purchase but felt relieved knowing there are many food trucks open late. I ended up eating somewhere else. This incident occurred on March 30, 2023, in case the owner wants to know.

My family has been coming here for years. It only gets better. Huevos rancheros is always a hit. As well as the torta de milenesa. And weekend for those hangovers they got really good menudo. You won't regret it. They do pick up as well.

Had lunch this morning order some chicken nachos. The nachos were soggy and chicken was cold. Not worth the price.
