Guy Anthony's Buon Appetito

The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food and service are outstanding. This was my first visit, as I'm in town for a short while, and I hope to come back again! Sitting at the bar allows you to watch the kitchen in action, and you can really tell it's a clean and well-maintained establishment when you can see everything happening right in front of you.

Upon arrival, Guy welcomed us and then returned to the bar. The waitresses expertly managed their tables—taking orders, serving food, and refilling water glasses—all while engaging in friendly conversations with the customers. Our waitress, Jeannie, introduced herself and asked for our names. Throughout the evening, she would check in with us, saying things like, "Diana, how's your salad?" It truly felt like we were in "Cheers," where everyone knows your name! Jeannie brought us a basket with cheese bread and mini pizza bread, placing it alongside a small vase with a fresh rose. Normally, I would order fried calamari as an appetizer, but I noticed an intriguing option on the menu: calamari over pasta, with your choice of sauce and preparation. I opted for the fried calamari served over linguine with garlic and oil. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully tender inside, with no greasy residue at the bottom of the plate—just excellent. My husband chose the veal piccata, and Jeannie made sure to mention it didn't come with capers, asking if we wanted any. He didn't even need to use his knife; the veal was so tender he could cut it with a fork! Despite a noisy party of eight at the table next to us, Jeannie was attentive and never overlooked our needs. When it came time for dessert, I inquired about their raspberry sorbet. Jeannie returned to inform me they were out of raspberry, asking if I'd prefer lemon or mango instead. She kindly brought me the lemon sorbet and didn't charge me for it since it wasn't my first choice. What a lovely gesture! The sorbet was crunchy, tart, and refreshing. As shown in the photos I posted, the restaurant has a cozy, comfortable neighborhood vibe. Guests at the bar chatted with one another and with Guy and the waitstaff. The ambiance was pleasant, the food was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. We wouldn't change a thing!

I had a fantastic experience at Guy Anthony's restaurant. The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. The homemade chicken noodle soup was out of this world! I will definitely be returning.

Celebrating my daughter in Laws Baby Shower at Guy Anthony's Food was delicious, service was excellent, we all had a great time. Bonus we had all the place for us.

My wife's baby shower was this past weekend and everyone who attended had nothing but good things to say. The owner was very helpful with setting up the party, staff was super helpful and friendly and the food was really good.
