Bidra med feedbackWhat a great place! There was a real rhinestone cowgirl complete with a white hat, lots of friendly locals (we were just passing through), and an incredibly personable owner who pulled up a chair at our table and shared his story. Oh and the steaks were to die for. Cooked to perfection and so delicious. Wine and a refreshing mocktail complemented the dinner. We finished with the scrumptious berry cobbler piled high with ice cream. It just doesn't get any better. Wish we lived closer!
Wow! Easily in the top 10 dinners of my life. The spicy pineapple margarita was fabulous. The walleye nuggets appetizer was even better than I could imagine. Finally, the Cedar Room specialty cut was perfectly cooked and super tasty. I saved half of my steak for breakfast the next morning. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and very efficient. Thank you so much for a great experience.
I had received several gift cards so my husband and I decided to try The Cedar Room. He ordered the pork chop with mustard cream sauce and I ordered the chicken with creamy garlic sauce. It was very good. The chicken was not dry or overcooked. We also got the sausage stuffed mushrooms and my husband got the turtle cheesecake to take home. The Black Walnut Old-fashioned was a little sweet for my liking but the overall experience was good.
The food was amazing! My husband I shared the ribeye steak with sweet potato fries and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly. We both loved the sweet potato fries with the dip that reminded me of icing. The service was wonderful. Our waitress did a good job of taking care of us. We split the meal and the waitress was kind enough to split our meal on two different plates.
The Cedar Room hits on all points. Friendly, accommodating service. Appealing atmosphere. A great mixed drink menu. Oh, and the food! Fantastic. Our group all ordered the special- Surf and Turf Wagyu steak and lobster tail, with a side of root vegetables. We were licking our plates clean. I was skeptical because I've had real Wagyu in Japan and this was USA sourced Wagyu, which can be a poor imitation at times. We asked to inspect the cuts prior to ordering and our request was accommodated. One of our group members went to FFA Nationals for beef grading. He was impressed and very pleased with the marbling, which looked authentic to the Wagyu I've had in Japan. That said, the proof was in the mouth. Perfectly tender, juicy, and delicious. These folks do it right. Can't wait to go to The Cedar Room again!
