El Charro is a delightful restaurant located on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence. I visited during the RI Food Fights Taco Mania event, and I found the tacos to be classic street-style (meat, cilantro, onions, and lime). They were quite tasty, although the portions were on the smaller side. The chips and salsa, along with the cheese and bean dip we ordered, were delicious. The service was satisfactory, and overall, the food was enjoyable. I will definitely be returning.

I visited as part of the RI Food Fights Taco month, and honestly, I don't quite remember the tacos I had since I've tried so many this month. They were simple street tacos, but the staff was really friendly. I'd definitely come back to eat here again.

If you’re a Tex-Mex enthusiast, this place is a hidden gem! They have a fantastic bar setup and distinctive southwestern decor, featuring a large horse that makes for a fun photo opportunity. The menu boasts a wide variety of Mexican dishes, and don't miss out on their enormous margaritas! Each time I’ve visited, the service has been exceptional, with friendly staff and prices that are very reasonable.
