Bidra med feedbackBEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD IN DFW! They have an amazing menu with alot of variety, my favorite salsa I have ever tasted (and I've lived in Texas almost 20 years), and don't skimp on portions at all. VERY good fajita beef, quesadillas are huge, even the standard rice and beans that accompany many entrees are somehow better than at other restaurants. Casual atmosphere. Service is very fast also, I often go in for lunch or dinner and order as soon as I sit down and the food is already out 5-10 min later. If you are looking for a cheap hearty meal of great authentic Mexican food, go here!
Awesome. They have the best BEEF Quesadillas, tortilla soup, guacomole, salsa, chips, enchiladas, and BEEF fajitas. They have awesome service. My family and I have been going here for years. The food is awesome every time. The salsa and chips are the best in the area, quesadillas are full of meat and cheese, guacomole is prepared to perfection, queso is best in the area, tortilla soup is great with a robust flavor, enchiladas are soft and delectable, and beef fajitas are to die for. The reason I emphasize beef is due to lack of seasoning on their chicken, however their chicken is moist and tender every time.
It's not bad.... Mi Pueblo is ok if you want the usual chips and salsa but it is far from really good mexican food. <br/ <br/ If you want some really good food head over the AnaMia's in Southlake. That is the bomb!! Good chips and salsa and the fajitas are to die for. You can taste the liquid smoke and order the combo.<br/ <br/ Now if you want good mexican breakfast go to Esperanza's in FtW. The chilaquiles are my favorite....<br/ <br/ If Mi Pueblo is the best mexican you've had, honey you ain't had mexican!!!
The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plus ample parking. Upon arrival, the host greeted me promptly and guided me to my seat, providing a menu. My server quickly took my drink order of iced tea, and we were off to a good start. Before long, I was presented with a huge basket of chips along with their version of salsa. The chips were simple, lightly salted tortilla chips, which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a big fan of the salsa; it had a pasteurized tomato flavor that didn’t appeal to me. It was chilled and there was a generous amount (they even provided a carafe), and since I ate a lot of it, it couldn’t have been all that bad. I ordered the beef chimichanga, which came with refried beans and rice. I was really pleased with my choice! When my server brought out the dish, I remarked on how delicious everything looked. The plate was filled to the brim with Mexican goodness and had a wonderful aroma. The chimichanga was lightly fried and topped with just the right amount of sauce—not overly drenched. The beans were smooth and creamy, while the rice was perfectly cooked, moist but not sticky, with grains remaining separate. Throughout my meal, my server checked in on me a couple of times and brought me extra iced tea. She was friendly and efficient, and I appreciated how quickly she presented my bill. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Mi Pueblo. Aside from the salsa, I highly recommend this restaurant. It has earned a spot on my shortlist of Tex-Mex places to revisit. P.S. They have a second location on Davis Blvd, a few miles away, which I have yet to review.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. My husband and I stopped by for a quick meal before a movie, and everything went smoothly. We also enjoyed some fantastic margaritas!
