We stayed at the nearby campsite and decided to walk to this pub along the canal, which took about 15 minutes. Luckily, we had made a reservation because it was quite busy. We dined on a Friday night and enjoyed the Chinese menu, which was incredibly tasty. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. If we ever return to the area, we will definitely come back to this pub.

I was disappointed that half of the menu items were unavailable, so I ended up ordering soup and a roll. The soup was made from canned vegetables and the roll seemed to be only partially baked. Overall, it was not a restaurant I would return to.

One of the staff working behind the bar is SO UNFRIENDLY! She really behaves as if she is so unhappy and resentful to serve the customers! I have rarely seen such an attitude ever! Of course anyone can have a bad day, or be going through a difficult time, but guess what, in this job you should just make an effort, no matter how you are feeling. There were two women behind the bar on both occasions I 'm referring to. One of them was super friendly and made customers feel very welcome long dark hair and a northern accent The other, blonde hair, with a horrible attitude was the rudest I have come across! I wouldn 't normally feel so strongly but I saw an advert for this place describing... a warm and friendly welcome. FALSE ADVERTISING, I say.

Fantastic pub , staff was super friendly and very welcoming. Food was amazing. Highly recommend this pub .
