Sunnyside Garden Cafe

I frequently visit this restaurant and always find the food to be excellent. The menu offers a good variety and the prices are reasonable. There is something for everyone and the food is delivered to the table promptly.

My husband ordered the lasagne and said it was piping hot and delicious. I had the ham salad, which was also good but could have benefited from less pickle and more salad. The salad included four pickled onions, a dish of Branston Pickle, a dish of piccalilli, and sliced onions.

I recommend that you hire a restaurant manager, provide better training for your staff so they are more informed about what is happening in the restaurant, and review the recipes used by the chefs. As a chef myself, I found the quality of the food to be lacking.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while. Having stopped visiting because I found the prices too high for the environment and food/drink offer. The coffee (vanilla latte) they call large is most places small. It takes 2 gulps to drink. It has very little ambience and although the food is nice I can’t justify paying the coffee prices.

Visited Sunnyside yesterday with family for lunch. Great choice of food, excellent service, piping hot food I consider good value for money. Garden centre has some lovely healthy looking plants reasonably priced. All in all a lovely experience I would highly recommend a visit.
