Hot Head Burritos - Northampton

When I arrived, there was only one staff member present. Although they were friendly, it was clear that they were a new employee and unfamiliar with operating the register. I suspect that the owner prefers to cut costs by scheduling just one person at a time because I've noticed this pattern during my previous visits. I ordered three tacos and a quesadilla, but when I went to pay, the cashier struggled to process the gift card. They swiped it multiple times without success, and I felt bad for the four customers waiting behind me. Eventually, the owner was called for assistance and managed to resolve the issue after about 20 minutes. Once that was sorted out, the cashier informed me that I owed around five dollars. I pointed out that the gift card had more than enough balance to cover my total and suggested that it might have gone through during all the swiping. However, the owner, still on the phone, insisted that this wasn't possible. I told her the gift card had nearly $20 on it, but she dismissed my claim with a condescending speech about her seven years of experience. Not wanting to argue, I paid the remaining amount and left. I will NEVER return to Hothead Burritos, and I will actively discourage anyone who asks about this place.

The food was served cold, and the cheese wasn't melted when it arrived at our table. The quesadilla was both soggy and tough, as if it had been cooked an hour earlier. Disappointing!

I had never heard of this place before, but my daughter wanted to give it a try. It's similar to Subway, but for tacos, burritos, and other Mexican dishes. The staff could have been a bit friendlier, and it was tough to hear them over the background noise. However, the food was tasty, and we didn't have to wait long. The entire restaurant, including the restrooms, was clean. There's plenty of parking available, but I recommend avoiding the Dunkin' Donuts side since getting back out with the traffic can be tricky.

The food was great , it was fresh and delicious. Will go back again.

The food is really good here and Bonnie is a wonderful human. She's always happy to see me. Who doesn't love melted cheese.
