Martoni - Northport

Nino is 1 hell of a guy.... great food.. The gelato is unreal!!! Everything imported from Italy. Great spot!

I had the Martoni salad. It had lots of walnuts, roasted red peppers and shredded mozzarella. It was better than I expected! My partner raved about the Parma ham on her sandwich and I loved stealing some of her ciabatta which was great.

Martoni is such a sweet spot. It makes you feel like you are in a little Italian cafe. My girlfriend and I went for a late lunch/happy hour and we were not disappointed. We ordered a delicious panini which was fresh, warm and on amazing bread. We also had the homemade Sangria and Rose wine plus a wonderful charcuterie platter. The platter had olives, assorted Italian meats and cheeses and was presented beautifully. I wish I had room for a gelato after. Maybe next time...

Two months ago I visited Rome with my family. The sights, people and beauty still stand out. Yet, it is the food that will be forever memorable. The little off the beaten path sandwich spots with Italian delicacies were forever memorable.It turns out, you don't have to fly to Rome for a top tier Italian food experience, just stop in to visit Martoni. You will not be disappointed. Their paninis, speciality sandwiches, burrata and delicious gelato brought us back to Rome. All accompanied with a great selection of Italian wines. We were so lucky to stroll a little away up Main Street to find this hidden gem!Martoni is a family owned shop with a family friendly vibe. Stop in! You'll find a Roman holiday in Northport.
