Bidra med feedbackIn a strip mall just north of Muskegon Airport on Grand Haven Road. Had dinner here a couple of nights ago. We ordered the garlic bread $1.75) to start which was a Texas Toast. I don't think it was homemade, but it was good, came out fast, and was served with a side of marinara. We also had a Greek salad the half portion is enough for 2 3 people. Comes with tomato slices, feta, lettuce, pitted olives, diced green peppers, cabbage slivers, shredded carrot, and onions. Most greek salads come with beets, but this one does not. Salad was tasty as was their vinegar/oil greek dressing. We had a 12 which is their medium) pizza with chicken and mushrooms. Their chicken is a greek shredded chicken with rosemary and oregano. Pizza was good. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but good. We had 1 slice left with three of us eating. Paper plates. 1 tiny tv in the corner. Place is very kid friendly. 3 booths and a bunch of tables which can be pushed together if need be. They take Discover. Will return.
Pizza is delicious, cheese has lots of flavor. In a city full of tasteless pizza this is a welcome establishment.
I ordered the Mama's Sub....not too shabby! I got the dressing on the side so I could dip my sandwich and it's pretty good! The only thing I would change would be to have the sub not so toasty. It was a lil extra toasted making it not as enjoyable. Asking for lightly toasted next time : Pretty average and will have to give their za a try next time.
I love Greek Tony's. My family have been regulars for a while, so they know names when we come in to get orders. They probably are my favorite pizza in town. Crust isn't too thin or too bready, pizza isn't too greasy. Only thing to watch out for is how much cheese they put on. Depending on who's working, the cheese can be kind of hit or miss. Sometimes there isn't quite enough, but I excuse it. I also applaud their gyro pita with tomato and tzatziki sauce- just the right mix of salty and tangy on a tender, warm pita.
I'm a huge fan of Greek Tony's! The crust is great and the service is always excellent. The only reason I'm docking a star is the pizza is rather expensive. Not when you look at the dollar amount but when you consider the portion size. You can get a much better value elsewhere but often times its worth it to go with Tony's!
