You'll find fresh fruits, an assortment of juices, and mini Danish pastries. There's also shrimp with cocktail sauce. For savory options, they have ham, chicken cordon bleu bites, fried haddock, macaroni and cheese, and meatballs. Don't miss the Eggs Benedict, potatoes, French toast, pancakes, and warm maple syrup. The Belgian waffles are wonderfully crisp! There's an extensive selection of desserts, but my personal favorite is a Belgian waffle topped with vanilla ice cream, macerated strawberries, and fresh whipped cream! If you’re in Norwich on a Sunday morning, this place is definitely worth a visit. I recommend making a reservation.
I took my husband to Taylor's this Father's Day for a brunch reservation for ten. Unfortunately, we found out that some guests had canceled last minute. When we arrived and my husband informed the hostess that we only had six people, she made a huge scene about it in front of everyone waiting to be seated. She repeatedly mentioned that we should have called in advance, and that they had turned other guests away because of our reservation. It was incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing, as she brought it up not just once but three times while walking us to our table. Just a heads up, this kind of situation happens in restaurants all the time, not just at Taylor's. The food was as delicious as always, but the professionalism of the staff left much to be desired. Very disappointed with our experience.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were polite and friendly, and the food was excellent.
