Zak's - Norwich

Zaks has been a name you can trust in Norwich for many years ever since the caravan that was located on the old Castle Meadow! The food is American themed burgers, ribs, fries and the desserts are huge knickerbocker glory, ice cream sundaes and chocolate brownies to die for! Very family friendly and at a good price. They are just starting to offer loyalty incentives too, and if you have a spree book you can pick up buy one get one free which really does make a difference to the bill! Their milkshakes are awesome but expensive, but in general they offer good value for money. The restaurant is often packed and sometimes staff are pushed, but all do their best. My only criticism would be the parking since they have built new houses nearby, parking is even more limited, and you need to be careful!

This is a great resturant that has fantastic meals here. The resturant itself is well presented and laid out which is very welcoming. They serve all typical american food such as burgers (which in my opinion are the best tasting) fries, and lovely milkshakes too (which my children love). The only thing is the price at the end especially if you're like me and have a family of six. They do however do a good selection of children menus available. There is plenty of parking near to this resturant so it makes it easily accessable by either car or foot. This place is perfect to go for a meal if you've been busy shopping at the city.

This is a lovely American style resturant that offers all american style food such as burgers, fries, milkshakes and a great selection of starters. This is a reasonable priced resturant that has very good service and waiting times. Staff here are always welcoming and helpful whilst taking orders or offering suggestions and advice on meals. It seems a happy place and suited for all people but when I have been in here the music has seemed a little bit loud for my liking.

Well once again visited Zaks Waterfront for my partners 60th birthday..Absolutely love this place! ..Always have, There are a bunch of particularly nice friendly staff who try hard to please. I love to be in the actual Diner with the fifties atmosphere..one thing id love to see in there is a big wurlitzer (cd) music player with the colours going round...and to see the staff dresses in more authentic fifties style Diner clothes But the food once again was plentiful, well presented, and tasty!....only once did i fine the steak fajita meal not great..but another time i had it and it was gorgeous...So all in all love the whole experience..will be holding my wedding reception there. Good job guys

This place has just been done up it's still American Diner style I just wish the seats were a bit more comfortable! Went here again a few weeks ago and had a lovely meal, it was very quick and the staff were lovely. It's another place that overs such a lovely bonus of being open all day! Great for taking kids to andthey always send you away with some sweets. The food is always good and value for money : Give it a go, may be for you : Oh yeah, music was a bit loud!
