I was not excited about being invited to Paon since years ago I had eaten at Le Paon in Palm Desert which was overly pretentious with extremely mediocre

This will be a very short review since we only stayed for drinks at the bar on a very warm evening.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant for lunch and it was a great experience.

I wasn't thrilled about being invited to Paon, as I had a disappointing experience at Le Paon in Palm Desert several years ago, finding it to be overly pretentious with mediocre food.

This review will be brief as we only stopped by for drinks at the bar on a hot evening.
