La Carreta Novato Mexican Food

$40 for 2 regular burritos and 2 cokes , The burritos were disgusting , Dry and no flavor . The young girl that took my order was less than pleasant. Way over priced for the worst burrito I’ve ever had . They make 7-11 burritos look like a a 5 star Reasturant!!! NEVER AGAIN .

I came in to get some horchatas and tacos for my kids on my way out of town. The lady was rude and wouldnt let my daughter use the restroom until i paid for my drinks. Then didnt give me my change almost 2 dollars. No receipt or have a nice day. Then started helping the people behind me. My kids were expecting food but i took them to another restaurant. I tried to look for her name no name tag. So i wont bring my family back here again.

Ordered the pastor regular burrito. The meat was ok, but the onions weren't cooked, and the flavor was pretty underwhelming. Wanted to support a local business, but it's going to be hard to come back when Chipotle down the street offers a better burrito at a more competitive price. Verde salsa was very good.

We had our mother's day celebration here. This is a neighborhood gem that no one knows about because it is located in a square that ran its course. Love the tacos chicharrones. My husband enjoyed his burrito. Our aupair had a milenesa that looked and tasted soooo good. We spent $130 for 6 people which might be a bit on the higher side but the quality of meat is worth the price. They also provided unlimited nachos and the sauces were delicious. Customer service was great. The ladies who served us gave us 100% attention even though we have 3 little children with us. I love this place and this will be my new go-to for Mexican food.

The restaurant has a nice, clean atmosphere, and the staff greet you warmly with a great smile as you enter. Unfortunately, I ordered the chicharrones en salsa (pork cracklings with spicy sauce), a dish I love, but the chicharrones tasted old—definitely more than four days old. I was in a hurry, and there was a mistake with my order, but I understand that these things can happen, so it wasn't a major issue. If I pass by again, I would likely give it another try. Perhaps they hadn't double-checked the food after the long holiday weekend.
