La Rosa Negra - Nowatney

Restaurant with your typical Tampa Latino Island dishes. Not a lot of seating but enough as long as it's not a rush for lunch. Clean and bright staff are friendly enough. I ordered four Cubans and some black bean soup with yellow rice. I was a littledisappointed all four sandwiches had very tough pork although seasoned to perfection it had to be removed from the sandwich toactually eat it. I will give them a try at another date and change my rating if the the food proves them better.

Excellent paella made fresh. Delicious juice and Cafe con leche!

Owner was extremely rude when asked to use the restroom. Claims that people from the streets cant use the bathroom even tho i was a paying customer. Used curse words in Spanish and miss treated employees. Never shopping here again

We went today Feb 12, 2022 after the new owner and chef took over (Chef Bigote)and the food was AMAZING. We had batido de Mamey which was the best I've ever had but I didn't include the pic because we drank it so quickly, seafood paella which wasdelicious, platano maduros much more. With one paella, around 4 people can eat. You can tell the ingredients were all freshand the service was top notch. We will be going back for sure especially because not every restaurant makes the paella mojaditaand so yummy like this one. It's an hour drive for us but I really don't mind. Keep up the great work.
