The chef at this restaurant is an inspiration to the local community. Despite numerous challenges she has made this restaurant into a success with delicious and extremely well-priced dishes. A small menu which also caters for vegetarians means the emphasis is on quality rather than a broad range. There's something for everyone. The staff extended the opening hours to accommodate our late arrival and provided great service. The kitchen is clean and in full view and a comfortable atmosphere in this small restaurant. Make sure you dine here and support the local community particularly in the low season.

Have a holiday house at Culburra and try and get down as often as often as possible. We never miss a meal when we’re in town as the food is fantastic. The beef rendang is our favourite but all the dishes are worth trying. Fully recommended

Very impressed by this place. Very flavourful and tender beef rendang, with the authentic combination of lemon grass, chilli and coconut flavours coming through nicely. Beef was slow cooked and pulled apart ; tender and moist. The cooks seem to pay attention to the food instead of just trying to slap something together. Chicken betutu was also quite impressive but lacking depth of flavour. Dishes were well balanced with perfect rice, and truly spicy sauces. Friendly and chilled out staff. Highly recommend for a takeaway indoor seating is available but limited). Bali Kitchen is doing street food right.
