Bidra med feedbackThis Indian food is 100% the best on island ive ever had I order it all the time es when its cold ou yum!
I just feel like minimal effort is put into everything this place produces. But I guess thats what happens when you run 4 or 5 ghost kitchens out of one place.
As an Indian (ok, ABCD that has traveled far in India, I can say based on experience that my dishes in this neighborhood Indian restaurant were usually authentic Indian food served with authentic Indian service. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that we all prefer the food for several neighborhood Indian places in Seattle. The curries have been seasoned with visibly comminuted whole spices that show that they have used fresh spices that did not take shortcuts. Some Americans or British could take exception from the fact that the curry dishes were not filled with cream and concentrated butter, but let us be clear that does not happen in India, so I did not take this as positively negative. We ordered the veg kofta Curry (nom nom , the lamb Punjabi Curry (also nom nom , and a chicken tikka masala for my Bristish husband (also delicious and less “fake tasting” than the usual garbage my husband likes. The naans (we ordered butter, wiper and spinach were delicious with a beautiful crab on the outside and soft inside. The naan was not drown in fat, how often happens in a neighborhood joint, which means that I could actually eat and enjoy. The only low food point was the Kachumber salad I expected to be similar to a Raita/Dorf salad. Instead, it was rather akin to a relish plate than an American salad with cucumbers, tomatoes and onions scattered with a small chaat powder on top. That said, I had this kind of relish plate served as a chess book (and something similar to a horiatiki salad in India anyway. With regard to the service, how many restaurants they seem to fight to experience employees folk and it was our waiters first day. ,With the current post-pandemic working crisis, it is a little hard to deny it too hard. It meant that there were some logistical challenges (as our waiter didn't know if they had beer and if so, what types, but they had a positive attitude and were helpful and we got what we needed. Also they are not the French around Art. This means that sometimes people come in and it would take a minute until people realize they were there. But America is the only country I think our servers are running crazy. If I have time, especially when I dive, I personally prefer the type of time service provided In most other countries, including India, where everything is a little free time, but not late, I would describe the service here. If you are short on time only factor that extra few minutes in. The cook came out and checked if we enjoyed our food. You and your partner (man) we are all very friendly and try to do their best to provide a good service. They were all very sweet for our young children. If you can, I would suggest in an order as an online ordering system (or maybe call to confirm how appears on reviews to have some Glitches. Having moved to Oak Harbor from Seattle with its countless Indian restaurants, I had low expectations. I was worried I had to cook all my Indian dishes myself. But God, thanks to Tasty India, exceeded my expectations so that I can rely on them instead.
My wife and I shared lamb Vindaloo, mixed grill and garlic naan. Delicious! Prices and generous portions. The owner, Belly, is very gracious. We look forward to our next meal there!
It is rare that I find a small hole in the wall establishment that reminds me of my trip to bangladesh and visiting with families. We came for a quick appetizer at 9:30 pm before heading to our hotel. We stayed for a full dinner. Down home indian delicousFood: 5/5
