Bidra med feedbackGreat sushi place. Not only do they offer great roles, but have a variety of dishes to satisfy what you long. I'll be back soon to enjoy their delicious offers.
The prices can be high if you indulge too much, but the experience is worth it. Expect to spend around $30 per person for dinner, and about $50 each if you include drinks and an appetizer. However, this place serves the best Asian cuisine on the island. If it's too crowded, I suggest looking for another option.
**Restaurant Impressions:** The restaurant is quite spacious and appears to have been recently renovated, with some necessary cosmetic repairs. The staff was excellent and very attentive, adhering to health protocols related to COVID-19. We ordered several dishes, starting with the beef bulgogi. It was a bit tough, but the flavor was fantastic. It was well-seasoned and served on a massive platter, which my daughter, still a teenager, found quite amusing. Next was the Mongolian beef, which was delightful. The meat was tender, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the taste was spot-on. My dad and I had a little fork duel over this dish! We also tried the sunomono with octopus. It was freshly made, and the octopus was clearly fresh and not chewy at all. The calamari was another standout. It was tender and expertly seasoned. The red dragon roll was hands down one of the best I've ever had, and I've tasted many sushi rolls around the world. The size and presentation were impressive, and the shrimp tempura was incredibly fresh. The spicy tuna hand rolls were outstanding as well. You could tell they were fresh because the seaweed wrapping was still crispy. They had just the right level of spiciness—not too much, not too little. As for the Alaskan roll, that’s where I might have to take off a star. If it were possible, I’d only deduct half a star instead of a full one. It felt like it was lacking in fish and was overly focused on vegetables, and the roll was a bit too large for my liking. I usually get a bit skeptical when restaurants offer a variety of cuisine types, but I felt very satisfied and confident in this place. It definitely restored my hope in diverse dining options. I can confidently say that this restaurant is worth the trip from Bothell to Oak Harbor!
Great restaurant! It's a bit short-staffed, so the wait was a little longer than expected, but that seems to be the norm these days. I tried the General Tso's chicken with white rice, and it was really delicious. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others.
Very good food! Super clean and still building.
