Avanti Pizza - Oak Island

Horrible, dough was old as well as the cheese and bland sauce.

It's a little mom and pop pizza place owned by a charming couple. they make their own meat with their own recipe, not a wholesaler, which is a rare thing. their donair's more flavorful than other donair meat. thick cut crispy. And in terms of French fries : donair meat ratio, their platter's the best in the city. I go there every week! Update: My previous review is a few years old so I just wanted to check back in to say that the food is still delicious, and though I don't go there EVERY week anymore (eating healthier/homemade) this is still my go-to place for donairs and pizza.

Sauce was lacking in the taste department. Bacon was crumbles instead of actual strips. Otherwise it was a good pie. $17.00 for a large pizza you really can't complain. But for some of the other reviewers to say this is Nova Scotia's best pizza, common now.

Very bland pizza. Tried for the first and last time.

The best fish and chips and other foods. The same people have owned it and run it for years. A5 star rating from me for the food the service, the delivery. Top quality products and service every time. Always my first choice for take out for all occasions.
