Bidra med feedbackI can only say what. Tantra hands down has the best tasting Indian cuisine I've ever had. The owner/host always remembers me when I come and even remembers my order better than me. I was already in India, and I can promise you, no Indian place can taste or feel like Tantra.
We visited LA and wanted to taste Indian food. Since we were new to LA, we were very confused about the restaurant we should try.... Finally, we have been in tantra and dinner....and trust me, it was the right decision.. The food was of authentic Indian flavor. Aloo Tikki was soooo yum and everything we ordered... Thank you guys.
Love the chicken of butter, Chicken Tikka masala, Curry fries, all lamb, garlic naan... the list could go on. Great food and wonderful family that belongs and runs this restaurant.
The food is excellent, and they have a very affordable happy hour. They can adjust the spiciness to your preference, and the staff is very attentive to their customers. They close at 2:30 a.m. and then reopen at 4:30 a.m.
This restaurant offers fantastic flavors that are perfectly balanced and not overwhelming. The subtle spices are delightful, so I recommend ordering your dishes mild and requesting any heat on the side. Indian cuisine doesn't need to be overshadowed by gimmicks like ghost peppers. The owner is a delight, and the young staff is courteous and friendly. If possible, take a look at the menu in advance, as the staff may not have all the detailed information you’re looking for since they focus on what sells. I've been able to customize my orders quite a bit, although it may take a little longer. The best aspects of this restaurant are the care it puts into its dishes and the inviting atmosphere. You can definitely have high expectations! Another favorite Indian restaurant of mine in the area is Saffron in Newbury Park, but Tantra holds its own with a unique charm. I hope you enjoy your visit!
