Bidra med feedbackWent there for lunch and highly recommend. Family run place with mom running the kitchen and Matisse, the son, working the front of the intimate dining room (capacity 36 people). The family bought the restaurant a year ago and kept the name. Menu is what you would expect from a French bistro. A number of daily specials are offered—I had the leek and bacon quiche special after starting with pate maison—both were excellent. My friend had one of about six crepes that were on the menu—also delicious and a generous portion. I had the dessert special that was homemade—a pear dessert similar to flan (I forget the French name)—it was extraordinary and I can’t wait to have again. Wine list is sufficient and affordable. Can’t wait to go back again, and I rate it an enthusiastic five stars.
Special place, good food and great ambience. Onion soup amazing!!! Crème brûlée the best. Bravo!!!
An outstanding dining experience. We are putting it in our rotation of favorite restaurants in South Florida. Reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. One of the best and most creative desserts we have ever had. Reservations strongly advised. Atmosphere definitely not over the top.
I almost never leave reviews from restaurants unless something really bad happened. However, this hidden gem in E Commerce deserves an absolute 5-stars. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked. Ordered the soup and fish of the day... that was perfection. The chocolate crepe was amazing... I'm looking forward to coming back to FLL to get back at Escargot.
What an amazing discovery! This small restaurant is all you can ask for! First time here, service is amazing. Very personalized attention, small restaurant atmosphere. Perfect for a dinner date. Escargot is delicious. We had the fish special of the day, and the steak with escargot as well. Both amazing. We asked for a recommendation for wine, the owner ask about the food we were ordering to have the perfect pairing. We'll be back . Definitely!
