Bidra med feedbackThis place is not bad! I was waiting for a connecting flight at the Oakland airport and used trusty Yelp to find this place for a light lunch. The food menu is simple: garlic fries, chicken tenders, bratwurst. There are about 5 6 beers on tap, a bunch of bottles, as well as wine. I ordered the garlic fries and a Hefe and both were fantastic. This is a 1 man operation he was literally cooking, pouring beer, taking orders, etc all by himself. It was also pretty busy as well. I am very impressed. Recommend as a great option in Terminal 2!
Small bar at the end of the terminal with 1 tv. Can't beat the location if you've got a gate in the 30s and don't want to walk back to the main terminal area. The food selection is minimal for hot food, including a brat in a bun, chicken strips, and garlic fries. The brat hit the spot for me. There are also some pre-made sandwiches on the fridge. Beer was cold and refreshing and a great way to pass a 30 minute delay. Power outlets are located under the bar.
Another fun flight out of the Bay Area and this time I was headed to Phoenix for some fun and hot hot sun. I could tell that I needed a little something to eat before my flight since it was around dinner time. Of all the places you could go, we decided on Gordon Beersch! We like ice cold beers and I wanted to watch the Giants game while we did that. They have a limited menu, so we both went with the Bratwurst. [hidden link] I liked my bratwurst and it hit the spot. But what I love about this place is that they have Multiple Mustards, so you can have it however you like. I prefer the Jalapeno Mustard, but they also have Sriacha. [hidden link] To drink, I ordered the Summer Seasonal and my guy went with the Hefeweizen. The second round we decided to split a pint of Marzen. Sharing is caring you know.
Flight was late and Gordon Biersch is a tiny oasis. Got to watch some sports while I drowned my sorrows in beer.
Oh man, don't go here at a week in New Orleans where you spent the majority of time eating delicious, but heavy food, and drinking until the late hours of the night. Cause, I'm STUFFED, but very happy with the food here. Got the seasonal beer, some sort of amber, a brat, and though I didn't need it the garlic fries. Everything was great. Seriously, the fries were super tasty. Lots of fresh garlic with amazing flavor. The brat was also great. Lots of options to sauce your dog. I went with the Beaver's Jalapeno sauce and topped with sourkraut. So good. The beer tasted great. Haven't had much from Gordon Biersch brewery. I'm quite glad of the selection. Now to wait, extremely STUFFED, to board my plane in an hour and some.
