My wife and I like to eat in local restaurants instead of chain food. Let me tell you, WOW the food here is far more anticipated. I would encourage someone to visit and try them. We were also on the RV Park grounds they own and it was also good.
Very good service. Steaks were prepared with care. Friendly people. Never would have thought if I just drove by unlooked at it. It's well worth a stop and a good place to get a Kansas steak.
Unexpected great find in western Kansas along I 70 at the US 83 exit. Don’t let the approach fool you. Food was excellent and wide variety of choices all good. Handled the grandkids as well as adults. Service fantastic. Met my wife’s standards as well. Clean, friendly, accommodating! I travel all the time typically 45 weeks a year. This place goes in my phone reserved only for places I want to go back to. In western Kansas? Skip the chains and have a great meal at an owner operated place! Right off the interstate in the entrance to a campground again don’t be scared off. Worth the stop!
Wow... looks like a bar and expected bar quality food, boy was I supprized. Such amazing sea food in a land locked state try the soup was out of this world wish I would have ordered 3
Superbly excellent! Bisque is phenomenal as were the filet mignon and mashed potatoes. The owners are a delight and have brought the Chesapeake cuisine to Oakley, Kansas. If you are passing by Oakley, take the time to stop at Cap'n Jack's. You won't regret it. Bon appetit!
