Ami Sushi - Oakville

We finally decided to come here after having ordered delivery a couple of times and liking their food. On-site experience is even better. Very friendly, quick and efficient service. Great food, tasty and well presented. Reasonable prices for what you're getting. This place is a couple of notches above other local sushi shops.

My wife, daughter and myself love this place., normally. Tonight (Friday night in April) I walked in to place an order for take out. I managed to get two items ordered, the phone rang, that order was taken - I was left hanging. Then I placed some more of my order. Until a customer came to pay their bill and leave. I was left, waiting to complete an order.By this point I am getting a bit miffed. After the dine in customer paid up and left, I began to complete my order. Then the phone rang AGAIN, I was ignored once again while they took the order.Walked out without completing my order. Sorry, we are in all the time. If you don't have the time to take my order let me know. I can spend my money elsewhere.

Near to the hotel I am staying in Oakville, this place has a warm atmosphere and tasty dishes that make a difference for anyone who is far away home.

It was dead-quiet when I visited - I suppose it caters to the commuter crowd pouring out of the nearby GO station primarily. Great sushi and good service.

I THOUGHT THESE REVIEWS WERE FAKE...UNTIL......I visited the place myself!The reviews and histogram seemed too perfect. But Indeed this place is perfect in all aspects. And once I met the owners, I knew they would not post fake reviews.And how did they do that to the orange? (See picture.) That healthy complimentary desert burst apart into candy-like pieces. A metaphor for the ambiance of Ami Sushi.
