Visit once a year for a conference and after a 3hr drive it’s always good to see happy positive staff. The service is always very good, as is the food. Wish we had pubs like this down south! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What I'd call a good old fashioned pub a lovely range of ales and the pub food here is excellent. Also hold events such as Dionysus which was excellent. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Host to the fantastic Dionysius festival, friendly staff, good beer and food served. Had a great day would happily return .
