Mom's Apple Pie - OCCOQUAN

This is a fantastic spot that combines a beer and wine shop with a bakery. The space appears to have been a former general store, adding to its charm. I could have easily spent a lot of time exploring the unique beer selection, but I was limited on time and managed to grab a few pints that I hope will be great. The individual slices of pie were plentiful, and my sour cherry pie was delicious. The chocolate pecan pie received glowing feedback from others. I would love to take a few whole pies home, but there's a sign on the door indicating that, due to supply chain issues...

We ordered a key lime bar, a heart-shaped fruit-filled cookie, and a sour cherry pie. While the key lime and the cookie were decent, the pie truly stood out and more than compensated for the shortcomings of the other treats. The crust was buttery and flaky, and my mom remarked that it reminded her of the pies they made back in Michigan when she was a child. It really tasted like a homemade pie, assuming your mom is a skilled baker!

I recently moved to Woodbridge from Virginia Beach and stumbled upon this bakery. The fresh baked goods were delicious, and the staff were generally friendly. However, I did encounter some less-than-pleasant experiences. For instance, instead of the cherry pie I ordered, I received a blueberry pie, which my relatives aren't very fond of. I didn't say anything because I understand that mistakes happen. Unfortunately, on another occasion, I received a Danish that wasn’t fresh and had mold on it. When I took a bite, there was a terrible smell. I ended up taking it back to the store.

Very energetic and lovely bakery. The aroma of the bread and pies can pull me out of my car with watery mouth face????. I can enjoy my piece of my pie with my black coffee and live happily ever after

These pies are awesome! We tasted six and had to stop ourselves from getting more. Beyond the amazing pies are a large variety of baked goods, a huge selection of craft beer and other beverages, and lovely hand crafted gifts. They also offer fresh hot coffee to those of us who needed to eat our pie immediately. I highly recommend this place !!! It is perfect as part of a visit to the lovely town of Historic Occoquan.
