Rio Grande Cafe - Ocean City

I just mentioned that I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. The only advantage it has is its convenient close proximity to the beach.

Expensive, but the location is fantastic. There was a long line for the complimentary breakfast. On the second morning, they ran out of bagels, leaving only waffles and sugary cereals available.

We chose this 2-star hotel primarily for two reasons: its location near family we were visiting...

This is a fantastic spot to relax, enjoy drinks, savor delicious food, and listen to some music. The staff is wonderful, and as a local, it's one of my favorite places!

Rio Grande boasts a committed staff that treats Alvah like family rather than just coworkers. The food is consistently fresh and made to order, with a wide variety of options available. The bartenders are friendly and always busy preparing drinks. If you happen to find a fly in your drink, they'll gladly make you a new one—assuming they aren't too overwhelmed—but remember, you are outside, and if you're of legal drinking age, you can simply remove the fly yourself! Overall, this place is truly fantastic!
