Bidra med feedbackGreat food and amazingly friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.
The couple that runs the restaurant is incredibly friendly and always willing to prepare our meals exactly how we like them. The owner does all the cooking himself, while his wife takes care of the service. Our favorite dishes include their breakfasts, especially the eggs, omelettes, and American fries, as well as the roast pork and turkey dinners, all served with their delicious homemade mashed potatoes. The prices are very reasonable—it's fantastic to get a complete dinner with soup or salad and dessert for around $10. They also brew a fresh pot of delicious coffee for us every time we visit. Gorginas is closed from Sunday to Tuesday but is open until 8 PM on other days. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a tasty, home-cooked meal at a very reasonable price.
This restaurant is extremely disorganized! They don't have consistent hours and open and close whenever they feel like it. I've never been able to reach them by phone to ask about their hours. I have no idea who runs this place or what's going on, but it has gone from being an average family restaurant to a real disappointment. There's a lack of updates and maintenance, both inside and out, which is very apparent. There's not much positive to say about this place anymore. I really don’t understand how they’re still in business; perhaps this is why they have such erratic hours. I definitely suggest looking elsewhere for dining options.
I really enjoy this restaurant; it offers straightforward, delicious cooking without any unnecessary frills.
The food was excellent and the service was great. However, the restaurant was quite cold, which was the only drawback to my experience.
