Bondehuset - Odder

No grill, grilled items from the oven? Rude staff no real notice of complaint. Actually got band for mentioning. Got the price down eventually, but you guessed it.

Hungry and eager to find somewhere for an early evening meal, we happened to pass Bondehuset. It didn't look particularly special, but it was tastefully decorated, busy, the waitress/owner was very friendly (but spoke no English no criticism there, as I speak no Danish! , we managed to work out the Danish only menu, and the prices looked reasonable. We had the plaice (three fillets! stuffed with prawns, and the wienerschnitzel. Both were absolutely superb and the portions were extremely generous. We would wholeheartedly recommend!

First we were told that the chef did not care to make more food even if the restaurant was less than half full. Eventually we got a table but this is (even if the house is very danish heritage) just ****. Standard food served by extremely unfriendly staff. Just one advice: stay away!

Very romantic place and a weldone dinner. It was served with care and the wine was fine.We enjoyed that we could go to the beach after the dinner.

Really delicious food and super service for both children and adults. Prices are extremely reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.
