Umashi - Odense

Very cute young girl who served us and she is the biggest plus at the visit. The Sushi did not taste freshly prepared and the tempura was not warm and the rice refrigerator cold. It was my first visit to the restaurant and I had greater expectations. These were not met and will not come again.

Fans of a Asian and especially Japanese food seem to be spoilt for choice in Odense. This looked the most interesting of the numerous places we saw and on the night we visited it was the busiest. The food isn’t cutting edge or original but it’s of a decent standard. Everything we had was tasty and nicely presented. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere good. All in all, I would recommend. Bit pricey, but probably not too excessive for Denmark.

Nice food, nice menu, aperitif wine main dish desert 420 DKK. We came with a large group and ordered some sushi in advance which was ready when we arrived and not ONE piece was left on the boards at the end of the evening good food !

Umashi is one of my favorite sushi places in Denmark and most definitely my favorite sushi restaurant in Odense. The restaurant itself is very stylish and has a cozy atmosphere. And the sushi is just yummy!
