Arcadian Moon - Odessa

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, with ample outdoor seating and picturesque views of the lake. Though they may have previously brewed beer on site, it was not available during my visits.

The food, wine, service, and entertainment at this restaurant were all excellent. The portion sizes were generous. The garlic bread appetizer was amazing. The interior had a beautiful and cozy atmosphere. However, the only downside of our experience was the bathroom, which was in need of some maintenance. The door, toilet, and random bathtub/shower were all in need of attention. This detracted from the overall dining experience and may prevent us from returning in the future.

Beautiful sea view from a large 2 level deck. high quality food and a very nice menu selection. beer on hahn and a good choice of weep. service was good and we enjoyed a very nice late lunch on the deck. only a short drive south of higginsville exit on the outside road.

We recently discovered another fantastic restaurant while traveling in our RV. Located in Higginsville, MO just off I-70, Arcadian Moon is a hidden gem that we found through the Harvest Host program. Despite the gravel road leading to the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We visited on a Saturday evening and enjoyed live music starting at 6:00. We selected a bottle of their Cynthiana wine, a beautiful dry red, and sat outside with a stunning view of the lake. The menu offered a variety of enticing options, but we ultimately decided on the Bruschetta and 4 cheese Baked Ziti. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Bruschetta featured fresh tomatoes, basil, and balsamic drizzle on a perfectly toasted slice of bread, while the Baked Ziti was a heavenly combination of Mozzarella, Parmesan, Ricotta, Provolone cheese, and a delightful blue cream sauce. The prices were reasonable, and we were so impressed by the wine that we purchased a second bottle to enjoy back at our RV. The restaurant was bustling with both regular patrons and fellow Harvest Host members - a testament to its popularity. Overall, Arcadian Moon is a place we would highly recommend visiting.

Rolled into town after sunset, and were referred to this spot for a romantic dinner, by our hotel clerk. After a few wine and beer samplings, we made our way outside to enjoy the cool air and guitarist on the back deck. Too dark to enjoy the lake, but the twinkling lights,and ambient surroundings were DEVINE after staring at tail lights all day!!! We both ordered Pesto Pasta and had sausage added. It was delicious, pared with the dry Pioneer White wine. Pleasant end to a stressful day.
