Furr's Ayce Marketplace - Odessa

This restaurant feels like a childhood playground for me. My grandfather always took us here, and now I have the joy of bringing my own children. He still joins us too! The potatoes are the best, especially paired with a hearty chopped steak. The fried chicken is consistently delicious. The waitstaff is always friendly. It's a wonderful place that holds a special spot in my heart.

I was faded before I came here and I just wanted to eat some stuff. I ordered the Pesto chicken flatcakes and one side of the roasted zucchini-Kartoffa. I appreciate how our server brought out every dish as they were ready to get them out hot. The zucchini-Kartoffato dish reminded me of Christmas because it had some spices in it. I loved adding the panko crust because it added the texture to the dish.

The food was served hot and tasted quite good! It was my first visit, and I had heard from others that it was even better than expected. I was pleased with both the quality and flavor of the dishes. The staff was friendly, and our waitress, Gloria, was absolutely amazing! She provided excellent service. I'd definitely return just to see her again. The restaurant could benefit from some essential updates, but overall, it was clean and mostly comfortable.

I decided to order Thanksgiving dinner for pickup. When I arrived, there was a line, and I was the 24th person in line. It took a total of 1 hour and 35 minutes to get my food. The only reason I would consider returning for Christmas is that the food was excellent and abundant. That's why I didn't give them a lower rating.

This location seems to be working to improve food quality as well as the dining room experience. The vegetables taste fresher and are not over cooked as had been the practice. Entree selections are varied and tasty. The nursing-home-disenfectant smell is gone from the dining room and the wait staff are attentive.
