Hunan King - O’Fallon

Ordered Hunan Beef; the texture is good, but it's WAY too sweet. If it wasn't for the seeds floating in the syrup at the bottom, you'd have no idea it was intended to be a spicy dish.Our 3 year old enjoyed it, though.

Their sweet and sour chicken is pretty good. But my experience is not good. I have gone there several times and the owner lady is always sour and grumpy. But the straw that broke my back was i ordered 3 large egg drop soup to go they apparently didn’t have enough, so they watered it down to complete my order. Better to say we only have enough for one than ruin the one you have and water it down. This is not an attitude I want of the people who handle my food.

This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. I even looked past the grumpy waitress and cashier (same lady) because the food was so good. But lately it's just not what it once was. Still good just not great, and definitely less of it. The lady working there could use a serious talking to on how not to treat customers.

So disappointed in the food! Ordered Mongolian beef and it was mostly onions. I called to tell them and they said that's how they do it. Customer service doesn't exist. Never going there again!!!

They do not deserve the one star I gave but I had to give the star in other to post a review.O wow, I have never seen a very very rude costumer services on the surface of the earth. Both mother and daughter are so so rude . I think the way their food is been hyped has really gotten into their head. We went their as s family for dinner, the daughter was very rude with attitude to my husband that we had to abandon the food and left. If you value your respect and dignity, please find somewhere else, there are so many other Chinese restaurants that are way better than hunan king!
