Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I are regulars at Betos. You know how you sometimes get a craving for affordable Mexican food? Well, this place will definitely satisfy that craving. The burritos are made with fresh tortillas and delicious ingredients. When we visit in the morning, we usually order a mixed breakfast burrito. For lunch or dinner, we go for either the Loco burrito (which includes beans, rice, carne asada, pico, and a dash of hot sauce with a squeeze of lemon) or the carne asada burrito (featuring carne asada, pico, and guacamole), and we love to share the loaded carne asada nachos. The food is consistently tasty. The only reason I'm not giving them a full 5 stars is due to the service and access. Getting into the drive-thru can be frustrating, they take a bit too long to prepare your food, and the interior of the restaurant is nothing particularly remarkable. These are minor issues, though. Overall, I really enjoy Betos!
This Betos location often disappoints me. The service here is typically poor as well. When I ask for extra hot sauce, I usually receive just a tiny portion. The staff tends to be uncommunicative and rush you out, even when there are no other customers waiting. The burritos are generally smaller and not as tasty as those at other Betos locations. If I have the option, I prefer to drive to the Betos on 36th and Harrison, which I find much better. However, if you're looking for recommendations at any Betos, here they are: the mixed breakfast burrito, Texano burrito, rolled tacos, California burrito, carne asada fries, and quesadillas. Those are my favorites, listed in that order. Be sure to try both the green and red sauces. I think the green one is better, but they complement each other nicely.
If you're on your way to PowMow, make sure to stop by Beto's for an authentic breakfast burrito that costs around $5. The burrito is huge and packed with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and bacon, plus there's an unlimited salsa bar to customize your meal. This charming taqueria truly stands out in an area that's often associated with mediocre Mexican food. It's definitely a must-visit for a quick and satisfying breakfast in Ogden before hitting the slopes. Thank you, Beto!
