Del Taco - Ogden

A few years ago here and saw some CSI trucks wearing a dead body from a field. My Burrito was juicy and supple, something I love. The employees make me smile with their happy attitude.

Very speedy staff they handle lunch pretty well. Only reason I gave it less than 5 is that to get back on the interstate you have to turn right and then make a u turn somwhere.

This would get a 5 star rating but there is nothing Del Taco can do to improve the taste of their food, haha! It is average and will suffice on Taco Tuesday or in a pinch. I do enjoy the flavor of their mild sauce. The restaurant itself is always clean. The staff is always friendly and they’ve never gotten our order wrong yet. My kids enjoy the small play place. It is a favorite of my wife’s and I to take the kids on Tuesday so as to feed our family of 8 for less than $15, allow them to play a bit and avoid making a mess at home for supper. We will continue to frequent the restaurant for this reason, but as previously stated, the food is average. Nothing to write home about.

Del Taco is an intriguing choice that seems to thrive primarily due to the lack of alternatives. The food is decent and the prices are fair, but the restaurant's identity is quite peculiar. It feels like the Burger King to Taco Bell's McDonald's—if that makes sense. You'll grab a meal here, and it will satisfy your cravings, but it's not exactly a destination worth leaving the house for. It’s simply there when you feel like having tacos.

It was 5:00 PM when we decided to stop and try some Quesadilla Tacos. They were delicious, served hot—not too spicy, just fresh and warm. The young lady who served us was truly delightful. She was incredibly friendly and polite, with a wonderful smile. It was a pleasure to experience such positive energy at that time of the morning.
