Our whanau popped out for a Sunday buffet lunch, a great selection of food, cold salads, hot vegetables hot meats with some very tasty home made chutneys, a delight! Dessert coffee and tea included too. A warm, charming atmosphere, beautiful scenic surroundings. Staff accomodating pleasant! A must do annually for us! I'll be back in June 2025 for a cutting of the Albany grapevine. Ngaa Mihi Nui! Service: 5

Beautiful venue but the lunch buffet not much option and the meat was dry but overall it was good place.

Food was fabulous however customer service way below an acceptable level to the point the waitress was rude. We would have complained on the day however were there with overseas visitors and didn’t want to make a fuss. Wine tasting experience was terrible compared to previous experience. We won’t be returning with any future visitors. Service: 1

Great experience! Adam offered us a wine tasting and we walked away with 5 bottles of white and rose including their award-winning white ! He was funny, personable, engaging and knowledgeable of the family business. My sister , friend and I dropped in after the Hobbiton tour for some food. While there was no food the scenery, the service , wine and good company ,crispy bread and chat was a memorable experience for the trip! Adam also recommended a local pub for great food and it certainly did not disappoint! Would love to visit again. Definitely a hidden gem and must visit and taste.
