Bidra med feedbackI'm conflicted about whether to give this place one star for its quality and atmosphere or five stars for fully embracing its dive bar vibe. It's certainly one of the more memorable pubs I've come across in small towns during my travels, which has its charm, but I wouldn't make a special trip to visit.
If you're a local or just visiting, be sure to check out the Shamrock Tavern. They serve the best wings I've ever had in my life!
I stopped by this place while traveling and I would describe it as a Dive Bar in the best possible way. The local patrons are fantastic—very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Although it’s a bit off the beaten path, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Is it cozy? Absolutely. Is there a smoky atmosphere? Yes. However, it serves some of the best food around, along with some of the most affordable drink prices. The clientele is wonderful too. They offer nightly food specials, karaoke on weekends, and usually have a sporting event showing on the TVs.
This is definitely an interesting spot to visit! Mike took me here to experience what a dive bar really is, and it truly fit the bill! It’s a local hangout with plenty of quirky characters, a pool table, and some karaoke. Just a heads up, it’s not your typical karaoke setup—be prepared to belt out some '80s rock or you might want to leave! Two vodka tonics will cost you around $6, which is a nice change if you're coming from New York. However, I’m giving it one star less because my clothes smelled awful the next day! The ventilation consists of just one college dorm-style fan, and that just isn’t enough.
