Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I absolutely adore this restaurant! My group is from New York and we were blown away by the amazing food and excellent service. The manager took great care of us and was so attentive. It was a truly fantastic dining experience.

The baked catfish served with pintos and Mac and cheese were amazing. They also offered Chow Chow and fresh onion with the beans. We enjoyed many warm cookies with butter and jelly. Three members of our group ordered the turkey and dressing special, which was large and appeared delicious. I even remarked that it resembled a Thanksgiving meal!

Having breakfast for dinner is always a special treat, but what really made the experience stand out was Kaley! She was fantastic.

My wife and I are in the area that is visited by NY. This cracker barrel was near our hotel. We've never been in one. We thought the food was comfortable in the south. We were very happy with our choice. The waitress was very young and very attentive, she was very polite and very helpful with the explanation of the menu. We both went with Southern fried chicken and were very happy with the choice. I had dumplings and boiled apples as a side. Very good, something we don't see in the north. On the way out, we ran the store. Total good dinner.

Our waitress Mary was excellent. Food was great and the price is very reasonable for what you get. The wait for the table was long but expected, lots to look at plus the inviting atmosphere made it worthwhile.
