Bidra med feedbackA large stark room full of hipsters serving and drinking overpriced coffee. That's the initial impression walking into this place. And it turns out that's what it pretty much is. There's certainly something to be said for keeping it local - and that's what the patrons here are doing. The coffee is roasted in-house which is a fine thing. And the espresso is excellent. But I just can't recommend the $4 cup of coffee because it really doesn't taste all that much better than what I'm making in my French press at home. I can't speak to the food - other than to say it looked really good. I was only there for coffee.
This is the worst coffee I have ever had in my entire life. McDonald's coffee is better than this. Not to mention they lost our order, so it took 20 min to make to iced mocha lattes. Will never return!
Pros: Great coffee, delicious food, wonderful treats. (Holy cow! Salted chocolate chip cookie! Must have this again. Hubby went back for a second, and he is not a sweets guy.) Nice, modern, clean atmosphere. Love the rotating artwork. Cons: Both times that I have been here, I have felt like I was interrupting the cashier's day by placing an order. Both times, I offered a friendly thank you to the baristas, and neither time was I acknowledged. Husband tried to communicate -- with great difficulty -- a very simple drink: three shots with one-half inch of steamed milk. Starbucks may not be the best coffee in the world, but they do know how to do custom drinks. "We can only draw two shots at a time." The machine is limited to two shots -- not a big deal. "Would you like your four shots in two cups?" Whuuuuut? He pointed out that there was a larger glass available. This conversation was significantly longer, and much more convoluted than I have noted. Suggestion to Elemental: hire friendly staff, or train your staff to be friendly, even if they don't want to be. Pretentiousness is not cool. It is rude. Your shop would then be truly out of this world, because you have the best coffee in OKC, and the best physical building to enjoy said coffee.

Would definitely say this is a great place for aspiring coffee connoisseurs (and people who are already coffee connoisseurs). I paid $5.50 for a very small mocha though. So that was sad. The foam on top was good and the espresso hyped me up quite a bit, but I didn't care much for the flavor in terms of chocolate. Still, a very good coffee place and would go back. Might not get a mocha though lol
