Mcnellie's Public House - Oklahoma City

We were seated on the second level. The table next to us was noisy as was the whole place in general. The food was great. The hamburgers have to be the best in town; the reuben sandwich is outstanding. The fried pickles appetizer were great. We are in our 70's so the noise was a distraction, but we DO like McNellie's. If possible, sitting at the bar is the best experience.

Husband had the burger and fries, and I had stroganoff. Both were delicious! We went for NYE, and parking was quick. We were running late and they called to confirm the reservation. They were great about holding it, kind all the way!

I was pleasantly surprised! We had the artichoke dip first...so good. I had the pub stroganoff...was not expecting it to be that great! I will probably order that every time I visit. My BF had the fish chip and it was good too. No complaints! All of the staff was helpful. It was a great time!

The crispy chicken was too thin and tough, as was the beef in the cottage pie. However, the beef stroganoff was fantastic. While we have always been fans of McNellie's, this visit did not meet our expectations.

Great service, cold beer best burger ever. Our first time there, but not our last. We will be back.
