Bidra med feedbackFirst time eating here...wanted to try something different for our anniversary. Liked the interior which our wait person said used to house Model T Fords. We had a 5:45 pm Saturday reservation and were immediately seated. Our wait person, Michael, was knowledgeable and overall outstanding. He helped my husband with recommendations and he was happy with them. We both enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend. The menu is seasonal so the food and desserts pictured may not always be available with the exception of the Frose and Disco Nap.
This was my first time visiting and I can most certainly say I will be back. The vibe in the ambiance was great for our ladies night out celebrating my friend's birthday could have just as well been an amazing date night even a first date. They had an indoor and outdoor seating area the reason for four stars is because the outdoor seating area was muggy and extremely Loud and crowded with people playing cornhole right by your dinner table. So we sat inside we had a comfortable table which included glasses and a candle to make a more intimate setting. The location is good downtown but the parking is awful I had to park behind a Sonic and walk across the street it just wasn't accessible for such a nice venue. The food was really good I had the burger a friend of mine had the Buddha bowl and another friend of mine had the chicken and boy was it hot. We also ordered the fried okra and biscuits as an appetizer and those are really really tasty. They have a pretty good drink menu including mixers and wine. I didn't know which one I wanted so I asked the waitress to sample out of the two that I wanted At first she wasn't sure if she could do that I told her just go ask the bartender and she came back with the two choices and I chose from those. The prices were reasonable a little on the higher side but still reasonable we enjoyed ourselves and plan to go back.
We had a pretty good experience. My steak frites was not bad (I think it was a bit over medium), but we definitely got the bottom of the barrel on French fries. A lot of the fries were over cooked and tiny (they still tasted great). We really liked the appetizers. The deviled eggs were simple, but good. The biscuits were not bad and the bread was great. The live music was nice, but some of the people that came to enjoy it were.. very unique. Overall, it was a good experience.
I have been living in Oklahoma for quite a few years, and I regret not visiting this restaurant pretty often. Was searching for some fancy restaurants in the downtown area which had a decent options for vegans/vegetarians. The ambience was so good that we felt we should have dressed up well before going to this restaurant. Wasn't expecting this place to be so happening on a Thursday night. Would highly recommend getting your seats reserved before going.
Can't beat a setup like this place. Friendly staff all around PLENTY of seating and good food. We popped in for snacks before the ball game, but we will absolutely be back. Chicken fried carrots, Bread with hummus, tzatziki, and pimento cheese, and finished off with their scratch made biscuits. Fantastic, can't wait to come back!
